About Terry Tarbell

A business development professional with a background in meteorology, Terry Tarbell has served as capture manager with IBX since 2019. Before that, he served as executive vice president of business development with Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies, which was recently acquired by KBRwyle. Charged with the oversight of a 25-person department, Terry Tarbell drew on four decades of leadership experience to produce and manage proposals, evolve corporate culture, and improve the company’s win rate. Previously, Mr. Tarbell headed business development for DB Consulting Group. In addition to drafting and implementing a new business development incentive compensation plan, he won a $165 million NOAA CLASS program and a $90 million NASA GRC PACE program. In 2008, he led DB Consulting Group’s wins to more than $200 million. Mr. Tarbell holds a PhD in meteorology from the University of Pennsylvania, where he is a Centennial Fellow with the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences. In his free time, he enjoys going to the beach with his grandkids.
